    eMagine Completes Website Upgrade for Tecogen

    New site achieves company’s goals with clean design, increased content

    eMagine(tm), a leading Web design/hosting and marketing consultancy, today announced that it has completed the redesign and launch of a new website for Tecogen (http://www.tecogen.com), a leading manufacturer of natural-gas-fueled combined heat and power (CHP) products.

    Tecogen’s goals for the new site included a more polished look, along with content that would communicate its expertise in the chiller and cogeneration market – plus information about its economical and “green” product family – to its customers and prospects, who include building/business owners, technical plant engineering and facilities managers, and consulting engineers.

    The project began with an eMagine-led branding exercise, resulting in the identification of three simple marketing messages and ultimately in the development of a new corporate logo which crystallized those messages. The logo’s design scheme led directly to the “frame” for the new website’s primary pages: a clean, crisp, calming look that was just what the Tecogen team had in mind when they began their search for a website development partner. Finally, the site was completed with the inclusion of a business blog and buttons for the most popular social networks.

    According to Melinda Furse, Tecogen’s Marketing Communications Director, “Starting with the initial branding exercise, eMagine’s team exceeded our expectations at every turn.
