Cookie Lyon’s heart may forever be caught up in a love-hate situation with her ex-husband Lucious — but that doesn’t mean the Empire matriarch’s eyes can’t detect extreme hotness when it walks into her office.
In the following exclusive photos from the show’s Oct. 21 installment (9/8c on Fox), Adam Rodriguez‘s Laz Delgado, “a smooth-talking concert promoter with expert hustler skills… who takes an interest in Cookie,” makes his first appearance. But is Taraji P. Henson’s alter ego focusing on what Rodriguez’s recurring character can do for the artists of the fledgling Lyon Dynasty label — or is she thinking about trying to score backstage passes to his bedroom?
