Endeavour International CFO resigns from post

HOUSTON (AP) — Endeavour International Corp. Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer J. Michael Kirksey has resigned to spend more time pursuing other interests.

The international oil and gas exploration and production company said Monday that it hired search firm SpencerStuart to immediately help with finding a new CFO.

Endeavour's shares did not trade Monday because all U.S. stock exchanges closed ahead of the landfall of Hurricane Sandy.
