    Europe's Leading TMT Companies Honoured as 2011 Bully Award Winners

    UK, Netherlands, Germany and Sweden top the list of Europe’s leading technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies

    White Bull Summits (http://www.whitebull.com), champions of the European innovation ecosystem, today announced the 2011 Bully Award winners honouring Europe’s leading European technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) companies. The United Kingdom topped the list of honoured winners each with ten companies represented, followed by The Netherlands with five companies, Germany with four companies, and Sweden with four companies represented. The remaining European countries and companies represented include: Denmark (3), Finland (2), Spain (2), and Switzerland (1).

    The deserving winners were selected from a pool of entries that included hundreds of nominated European TMT companies, which was eventually narrowed down to 6o finalists. The winners fall into three categories:


    •     Yearlings: firms that seek or have received angel/seed rounds or equivalent; classic start-ups

    •     Young Bulls: firms that seek or have received Series A financing; early stage companies

    •     Longhorns: post Series A firms; growth stage companies
