Everyone Already Thinks They Know Who Brock Lesnar Will Face at Wrestlemania 32

If you want to know how obsessed some professional wrestling fans get, you should see the chatter over Twitter, Facebook groups, and wrestling forums regarding who Brock Lesnar will be facing at WrestleMania 32...on April 3, 2016. Mind you, he has a match at Madison Square Garden on October 3 against The Big Show, and will be facing The Undertaker at Hell In A Cell a few weeks later (add in his scheduled appearance on Steve Austin's podcast on the WWE Network and you have his "Go To Hell" tour wrapped up in a nice bow). The thing is, real pro wrestling fans like to fantasy book. You get your fantasy football on for a portion of the year? That's dope; try analyzing Raw and Smackdown, taking into consideration backstage rumors of beefs and other scheduling issues, THEN try to predict who will be wrestling at their biggest annual event!

Yes, we wrestling fans are weird obsessives, but that's part of the fun, especially when you're almost guaranteed a fire bout from the likes of Brock Lesnar.

We can imagine where this all kicked off—this past Sunday night's Night of Champions show, where the Undertaker/Lesnar match was announced. See, many wrestling fans assumed that the rubber match between those two wouldn't come until WrestleMania, primarily because of how we've been trained to see 'Taker in the ring. The assumption was 'Taker would battle with Brock then sit on the shelf until their third match at 'Mania." Then the Hell In A Cell match was announced and threw that thinking out of the window.

Now, assuming that Undertaker and Brock won't have a FOURTH match in this feud (because what would be the point?), that opens up a pretty interesting conversation for who SHOULD be facing Brock at 'Mania. While it's WAY too far out to make a definite prediction on who Brock will be facing at "the granddaddy of them all," we'll entertain the idea for a bit. Here are the four superstars who are rumored to be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32.

  • Seth Rollins

This is a pretty obvious one, right? Seth actually stole the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Brock Lesnar by using his Money In The Bank briefcase to enter the main event match between Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31. Brock and Seth's feud was put on hold when The Undertaker returned at Battleground. As of right now Seth's still the champion, but has a LOT of matches between now and April of next year. It might make sense for Lesnar to try and rip that title from Rollins' hands at 'Mania, or just get his final licks in and end the feud properly.

  • Roman Reigns

This is one of those matches that could make Roman a star. He's been on the cusp of main event status, but hasn't truly taken off in the shadow of a Randy Orton or John Cena. He needs that one big match, and that match COULD HAVE BEEN at 'Mania 31, but Seth stopped that and took the glory for himself. Maybe this year Roman starts to embrace a darker side (which will probably happen either way, as there's no way fans will cheer Roman Reigns louder than they will Brock Lesnar), and put on the performance of his life.

  • The Rock

This match had been battered around the pro wrestling dirtsheets for the last few years (and, for a while, many thought Triple H and The Rock were going to do battle at WrestleMania). Roman Reigns did tell us that The Rock could show up anywhere, and if you're looking to make quite possibly the biggest battle that could be made with semi-regular superstars, this would be the match. And truth be told, we're itching to see what kinds of microphone battles Paul Heyman and The Rock could get into to promote this one.

  • "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

While this is a match many might want, it's not something we're going to get our hopes up about. There's a reason Austin ended his monumental run at the top of the WWE in 2003: he's been injured AF, dating back to that piledriver he took at SummerSlam in 1997 from Owen Hart that legit broke his neck. He entertained the idea of fighting Brock Lesnar during his podcast with Paul Heyman a few months back, cutting a FIRE promo about whipping Brock Lesnar's ass at 'Mania 32 in Texas.

The question is, what kind of match would they be able to have? It's something that would have to be fairly limited in terms of Austin's movement, but would allow him to still whup on Lesnar. Maybe some kind of Texas Death Match, where there's no DQ? Whatever the case may be, a match between these two would be SURE to set some kind of records.

Which match do you want to see?
