Everything iPhone users need to know before switching to Android

Android is getting an awesome new feature gamers will love

iPhone fans are by far the most loyal fans out there, but Android Authority has put together a very comprehensive guide for the tiny minority of iPhone users out there who are interested in making the switch to Google’s mobile operating system.

The guide contains five major sections for iPhone users that tell you how to move your iPhone contacts, calendars, images, bookmarks and music over to your shiny new Android device. Interestingly, most of the transfers can be done pretty easily through Apple’s own iCloud service that backs up your iPhone’s contacts, calendar events, bookmarks and other key data.

In fact, the only part of Android Authority’s guide that doesn’t at all involve iCloud is its recommendations for moving your images from your iPhone to your new Android phone, which can be done via a simple USB transfer that uses your Windows PC as an intermediary. The guide also says that you don’t need iCloud to transfer your music from your iPhone to Android, although iCloud is certainly an essential way to back up any music purchases you’ve made on the iTunes store.

All told, switching from the iPhone to Android doesn’t seem to be all that difficult as long as you follow Android Authority’s instructions. The entire guide is worth reading and can be found by clicking the source link below.
