Execs named by Louisiana insurance company

Louisiana Workers Compensation Corp. appoints 2 to executive positions

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Sandra Mayfield and Charles Simon have been appointed assistant vice presidents of Louisiana Workers' Compensation Corp.

Mayfield was named assistant vice president of accounting and Simon was named assistant vice president of information technology services.

Mayfield received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina and earned a master of business administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Before joining the company, she was a vice president at AIG United Guaranty in Greensboro, N.C.

Simon has more than 20 years' experience in the IT industry, including senior-level roles for technology companies. Most recently, he was IT manager for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana.
