Mark Zuckerberg uploaded a picture of Gehry and the miniature model of Facebook West on Friday evening. He wrote:

"I'm excited to work with Frank Gehry to design our new campus. The idea is to make the perfect engineering space: one giant room that fits thousands of people, all close enough to collaborate together. It will be the largest open floor plan in the world, but it will also have plenty of private, quiet spaces as well. The roof of the building will be a park that blends into the community with a long walking trail, a field and lots of places to sit. From the outside it will appear as if you're looking at a hill in nature."

Facebook West will be located across a highway from Facebook East in Menlo Park, Calif., according to Bloomberg. The 420,000-square-foot campus will be home to Facebook HQ's 3,400 engineers.

The Gehry-designed Facebook West will have 26-foot-high ceilings and huge skylights. The 10-acre-long room will be sectioned off into "work-group neighborhoods." Office decor will consist of graffiti, work benches and arcade game consoles. On top of the massive office will be a "lushly landscaped" rooftop garden, complete with eateries serving up sushi and barbecue, according to Bloomberg.

The Pritzker Prize-winning architect's other famed designs include the stainless steel Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Hotel Marqués de Riscal in Elciego, Spain.
