After weeks of back-to-back designer presentations, it’s the beginning of the end for the major fashion capital’s Fall/Winter 2012 presentations as the world’s top fashionistas make their way from Italy to France February 28 for the beginning of Paris Fashion Week. Milan Fashion Week

Milan, Italy

Big names such as Giorgio Armani and Roberto Cavalli will be some of the last to show their Fall/Winter 2012 collections while rising designers such as Mauro Gasperi will also present towards the end of the fashion extravaganza.

Paris Fashion Week
February 28 - March 7
Paris, France

The queen of all fashion weeks concludes ready-to-wear show season with only the biggest names in fashion such as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, and Lanvin. Despite their special one-off appearances at London Fashion Week in February, Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen's regular Fall/Winter 2012 shows will take place as usual at Paris Fashion Week.

Première Classe

Held twice a year concurrently with Paris Fashion Week, Première Classe has been an essential reference for fashion accessories for over 20 years, attracting young designers and established brands from across the globe. Held at the Jardin des Tuileries, designers set to attend this edition include Antoni and Alison, Tatty Devine and Atelier Noiret Coussin.

Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition
March 6-September 16
Paris, France

Launching while the world’s fashion elite are in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week, the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition at the city’s museum of Arts Décoratifs will celebrate the fashion house’s namesake and its current creative director by comparing and analyzing their achievements during very different time periods. 2012 will be a big year for fashion exhibitions, with a Christian Louboutin retrospective due to take place at London’s Design Museum later in the year.

3rd Novomania

Shanghai, China

Launched in 2010,  this event showcases streetwear, casualwear, footwear, premium fashion and denim, welcoming brands including Superdry, Mango and Replay. For the March 2012 event 70 new brands have been added including Desigual, UMM and Nobrand. About 30,000 visitors from across southeast Asia are expected to attend, with exhibitor numbers expected to rise to 300, from 200 last year. 40th Baselworld

Every Spring around 2000 companies from the watch, jewelry and precious-stone industries unveil the latest innovations at Baselworld, with the world's most prestigious brands such as Rolex, Chopard, Tissot, Patek Philippe and Bulgari exclusively displaying their collections. Some 100,000 visitors from the retail and wholesale market are expected to attend the 2012 expo.
