Fate of embattled senators in limbo as vote on suspension motion delayed

OTTAWA - Senators are to continue looking at a motion today that would see Mike Duffy, Pamela Wallin and Patrick Brazeau suspended from the red chamber.

But a vote on the motion, which was earlier expected by today, appears to have been put off until Friday —the first full day of the federal Conservative convention in Calgary.

A lot could happen between now and then as the party caucuses in Ottawa gather to discuss the issues of the day.
