The FBI arrested today one of the Internet's most hated men, revenge porn purveyor Hunter Moore. Time reports that he was indicted by a federal grand jury for conspiracy to “access a protected computer without authorization to obtain information for private financial gain."

Mr. Moore's claim to infamy is running isanoyoneup.com, a website that posted user submitted naked photos without subjects' consent. According to the charges obtained by Time, the indictment was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. It charges Mr. Moore, 27, with allegedly paying Charles “Gary” Evens, 25, to steal photos from the email accounts of its victims to post on the website.

The pair are charged with seven counts of aggravated identity theft, seven counts of unauthorized access to a protected computer to obtain information and seven counts and conspiracy.

The arrests were made in California, where Business Insider notes is a state that has cracked down on revenge porn websites. Next Tuesday, Mr. Moore will appear in a federal court in Sacramento and Mr. Evens will appear in a U.S. district court in Los Angeles.

Mr. Moore was the center of an extensive Betabeat profile in Dec. 2012 where he said he didn't "give a fuck" about operating the now-shuttered website. You can read the full indictment on Time.
