Iraq offers amnesty in northern Qaeda stronghold

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, leading a northern offensive against al Qaeda, on Friday offered cash and freedom from prosecution to fighters who give up their weapons within 10 days.
