    FDA’s Rick Friedman, Destry Sillivan and Tara Gooen to Speak at ISPE Aseptic Conference

    Sillivan to appear live, Friedman and Gooen to appear via video conference; presentations will give participants a rare opportunity to receive direct answers to their questions from regulatory authorities.

    ISPE announced today that the FDA’s Rick Friedman, Destry Sillivan and Tara Gooen will speak at ISPE Aseptic Conference. The event will take place at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida USA on 29 February – 1 March 2012.

    Friedman, Sillivan and Gooen will all speak during the Conference’s Barrier Isolation track, giving participants a rare opportunity to receive direct answers to their questions from regulatory authorities. Sillivan will be on-site to give a live presentation, with Friedman and Gooen joining him via video conference. Sillivan has also been invited to speak as a part of the Aseptic Technologies for Vaccine Manufacturing track.

    “ISPE has always strived to bring together industry and regulatory authorities for idea-sharing and problem-solving,” said ISPE President and CEO Nancy Berg. “In 2012, we will increase our efforts in this area. The participation of these renowned FDA representatives in our Aseptic Conference is an initial signal of ISPE’s renewed commitment to serving as the industry’s best forum for regulators and top industry innovators to discuss the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing.”

    Titled “Global Evolution of Aseptic Processing: Implementing Risk-Based Manufacturing Solutions,” the conference will feature three keynote presentations from recognized industry experts in aseptic processing. The conference will also contain three distinct tracks.
