FDNY Battle Large Structure Fire Burning at Bronx Supermarket

Firefighters from the New York City Fire Department battled a five-alarm fire that broke out at a supermarket in the Bronx on February 9.

Footage released by the department shows fire crews using a hose mounted on a crane in an attempt to put out the blaze, as huge clouds of smoke billowed above the supermarket.

Local media reported approximately 200 firefighters were at the scene, trying douse the fire, which was still burning as of 8 pm.
