Turkish trousers were wide-legged pants cuffed at the knee that were usually reserved for gymnastics, cycling or leisure activities, according to Maggie May Fashions. Over time traditional ballet costumes became more acceptable.

Fettuccine Alfredo would be on the top of the list of foods made with love. Alfred Di Lelio of Alfredo's restaurant in Rome is credited with the dish, according to Foodtimeline. "The dish supposedly helped restore the appetite of his wife after she gave birth to their son. The original dish was made with a very rich triple butter Di Lelio made himself ... and only the heart of the best parmigiano. Fettuccini all'Alfredo became famous after Hollywood movie actors Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford ate the dish at Alfredo's restaurant while on their honeymoon in 1927."
