How Do We Feel About These Bacon-Fried Twinkies?

It's a universal truth that life is better with bacon (and as a Southerner, I firmly believe it ain't food if it ain't fried), but this new fried, bacon creation might be going too far. Just hear me out. There is a bacon fried Twinkie, and we aren't entirely sure whether to completely fangirl over it, or run and hide in fear. But probably the former because let's be real.

Bacon + dessert is nothing new. Maple and bacon are basically the Bey and Jay of sweets, and then throw some chocolate in there and you're off to salty/sweet heaven. But a cream-filled, doughy Twinkie? Now this we aren't so sure about. The blogger behind Oh, Bite It! took the childhood dessert, wrapped it in bacon, and plunged it into oil for a crispy, gooey confection your state fair food dreams are made of.

Since Twinkies don't have a strong, bold flavor on their own, I feel like the bacon could overpower it and just taste way too smokey and salty. But at the end of the day, there is cream and it is fried, so that makes up for whatever flavor mishaps may or may not have occurred.
