Will Emma Watson be suiting up for some time in "Fifty of Shades Of Grey's" Red Room of Pain?
The "Harry Potter" star has been the subject of plenty of recent casting rumors with many speculating that she's in the running to play Anastasia Steele in the big screen version of the bestseller - and now she's speaking out.
"I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing," the actress told Entertainment Weekly. "There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' - I never even saw a script!"
Emma, who will next be seen in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" out on September 20, said even family and close friends have begun to ask her about playing Anastasia.
"I told them just because there are 60 articles on the Internet doesn't mean it's any less true than if there are three or four," she told the mag.
Adding, "The thing is I'm not going to go out there every time someone attaches me to a film to say no or release a statement."
In related "Fifty Shades" news, author E L James has curated her own playlist for each of her books - artists that she thinks musically match her books, including Britney Spears, Kings of Leon, Beyonce, Coldplay and many more. Check out all her music picks for all three of her bestsellers, HERE!
