Final defendant in 'Bling Ring' pleads no contest to receiving jacket stolen from Paris Hilton
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The final defendant in a Southern California group charged with burglarizing celebrities' homes has pleaded no contest to receiving a jacket stolen from Paris Hilton.
Courtney Leigh Ames entered the plea Friday in Los Angeles and will be sentenced on Feb. 1.
She is expected to be sentenced to three years of supervised probation and serve 60 days of community service.
The group is accused of stealing more than $3 million in clothes, jewelry and art from the homes of stars such as Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green.
Prosecutors dropped felony residential burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary charges in exchange for the plea.
All the stars have agreed not to seek restitution for their losses.
