Al-Futtaim IKEA set to open store at Dalma Mall, UAE

Al-Futtaim, franchise rights holder of Swedish home furnishings retailer IKEA in the UAE, is set to open a new store at Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi.

Scheduled to welcome customers at the beginning of July, the store will feature a showroom, market hall, self-serve furniture area, and a Swedish Deli, as per a press release published on Zawya.

The new IKEA store, located on the ground floor of Dalma Mall,

will offer a range of home furnishing products and solutions, with dedicated sections for various living spaces, including bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, kitchens, and children's selections.

The store is designed to provide a comprehensive shopping and dining experience, offering a variety of food and beverage options.

Al-Futtaim IKEA UAE, Oman, Qatar, and Egypt managing director Vinod Jayan said: "We are excited to bring Al-Futtaim IKEA’s unique shopping experience to Dalma Mall. The addition of Al-Futtaim IKEA is in line with Dalma Mall's plan to introduce several new brands, as a part of the redevelopment and tenant mix optimisation strategy.

The mall is home to more than 450 internationally and regionally renowned brands.
