Fiorentina into Italian Cup final with Udinese win

FLORENCE, Italy (AP) — Manuel Pasqual and Juan Cuadrado gave Fiorentina a 2-0 victory over Udinese on Tuesday and a place in the Italian Cup final after a 3-2 win on aggregate.

Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Fiorentina leveled on aggregate in the 14th minute when Joaquin Sanchez Rodriguez headed back a long ball from David Pizarro and Pasqual smashed home an angled volley.

Cuadrado scored the winner in the 61st, with a ferocious shot that clipped the underside of the crossbar.

As Udinese chased an equalizer in stoppage time, there was a red card for Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, who was on the substitutes' bench, and then another for Maurizio Domizzi.

Fiorentina will play either Roma or Napoli, who meet on Wednesday, in the May 3 final.

Roma leads 3-2 after the first leg.
