Fire destroys camper in Truro

TRURO — A camper was destroyed in a fire Monday night on Chadwick Road.

A call came in at 11:30 p.m. regarding a fire in a mobile property, according to Fire Chief Timothy Collins.

The camper was parked on a residential property, but the fire did not extend to the residence, Collins said.

Mutual aid from Provincetown, Wellfleet and Eastham responded to the scene.

There were no injuries, but the camper was a complete loss, Collins said.

The fire is under investigation.
