First cruise ship of summer calls Wednesday in Seattle; 188 calls to bring 852,000 passengers

SEATTLE (AP) -- The cruise ship season begins Wednesday in Seattle when the Crystal Symphony makes a day-stop at Pier 66.

Scheduled cruise service begins next Tuesday, May 7, with the Carnival Miracle.

Seaport spokesman Peter McGraw says the Port of Seattle expects 188 cruise ship calls this summer with 852,000 passengers.
