Fists fly at 'Real Housewives of NJ' event

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. (AP) — Accusations and fists were flying at an event that featured cast members of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" reality show.

A Paramus man claims Jacqueline and Christopher Laurita and Giuseppe "Joe" Gorga attacked him as cameras rolled in a hair salon in Ridgewood on Saturday.

John Karagiorgis filed a complaint, accusing the three of simple assault and making terroristic threats. The reality stars responded with their own complaints.

Karagiorgis tells The Record newspaper (http://bit.ly/16AtzdU ) he was ambushed and still has a mark on his forehead from a stiletto heel.

His lawyer tells the newspaper the incident was a "reality show gone wild" as part of a "ratings grab."

Police say a probable cause hearing will be scheduled to determine if there is enough evidence to warrant any arrests.
