Six Flags Great Adventure
Six Flags Great Adventure is located at 1 Six Flags Boulevard in Jackson New Jersey. The contact number is (732) 928-1821. Tickets cost $36.99 if they are purchased online. General admission tickets cost $59.99. Kids age two and under are free and tickets for children that are under 54 inches tall cost $36.99. It is a good idea to buy your tickets online and add the Safari upgrade which costs an additional $11.99 per ticket. The Safari experience is incredible. You get to drive through this park and get very close to the animals. Safaris are conducted on a daily basis from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The theme park is open from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm every day until it closes in October for the winter.
Ballooning Adventures
A day trip to the Adirondacks region in upstate New York is very fun and you can go on a ballooning adventure. Ballooning Adventures is located at 17 Kimberly Lane, Queensbury, NY. The experience is incredible because you will be up in a hot air balloon sailing over the Adirondack Mountains.
Fort William Henry Museum
Visiting the Fort William Henry Museum is a great day trip for those history buffs out there. The museum is open from 9 am to 6 pm daily from May through October. Guided tours are conducted and there are live war re-enactments that can be viewed. Kids get to join in the fun by putting on soldiers uniforms and pretending to be in the Army. It is a very fun and educational experience that kids and adults can really enjoy together.

Lake George Shoreline Cruise
Taking a cruise can be a great day trip. Lake George Shoreline offers daily historic cruises. The cruises are conducted daily and in summer they are held from June 18th to September 5th. They are an hour long and patrons can drink coffee and tea. A full bar with snacks is also available. Tickets for adults cost $12.99 and for children they cost $4.50. The cruise is fun because you get to be out on the water and hear about Lake George. You also get to see islands and bays and feel relaxed which makes for a great time.
The Cape May Whale Watcher

The rates vary per cruise because some cruises include dinner. Children under the age of six years are free on every cruise that does not have a meal provided. Tickets for adults and children between the ages of 7 to 12 vary but most tickets cost between $20.00 and $35.00. Each cruise is between two and three hours long. A whale watch trip alone costs $40.00 per adult and $25.00 for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Children under the age of six are free. The trip is across ten miles of water and the Captain narrates a tour and points out the whales as they approach the ship. Tickets can be purchased online through the Cape May Whale Watcher website.
