Hacker creates a flamethrowing guitar for rockers who want to add flare to their shows

Love is a burning thing. And it makes a fiery ring.

So this hacker built a guitar that shoots burning flames of fire. And if you increase the amount of fuel -- well, the flames they go higher.

Via Hack A Day, check out this FLAMEnco guitar in action:

Jimi Hendrix, of course, is probably the rocker who is most famous for incorporating fire into his guitar act; after he set his guitar on fire, however, it became unusable. TheAlphaPyro, as his YouTube user name has it, has created a system that allows you to play the guitar while flames shoot out of it, all while preserving the structural integrity of the instrument.

Here are some GIFs of the guitar in action, for those too busy to watch the whole video.

Per the video above, there are more flaming guitar videos on their way, and you can subscribe to get them as they appear on TheAlphaPyro's YouTube page (I think it goes without saying that we do not recommend trying this -- or, really, anything involving fire, or lighting your guitar on fire -- at home.) In the meantime, we'll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest happenings concerning crazy men who attach flamethrowers to Fenders. Now excuse us while we listen to our favorite Electric Six album.
