Flippin’ Out: The Internet Is Losing It To This UCLA Gymnast’s Hip-Hop Floor Routine

Who said gymnastics can't be lit?

The floor exercise is the event for gymnasts to loosen up during competitions due to the variety in music and eye-popping choreography involved. College level participants have some of the most entertaining floor routines, and UCLA sophomore Sophina DeJesus definitely put on a show during her time on the mat.

Not only did she score a 9.925 for her near-perfect execution of her difficult tumbling passes, but she incorporated some of the hottest hip-hop dance moves of today, such as the Nae Nae, the Whip and the Quan. Her ending pose was her on her knees, dabbing like a pro Cam Newton-style. Her teammates watched on the sidelines and emulated her moves in unison, and the crowd went expectedly bonkers. Her routine helped her team win against Utah during the competition, and has since garnered over 23 million Facebook views and counting.
