Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Sets Mike Huckabee Straight on ‘Trashy’ Women Comments (Video)

Fox News host Megyn Kelly took a friendly parting shot at former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who appeared on “The Kelly File” Wednesday, to explain inflammatory comments he made about women who dare to be profane in the workplace.

“Well, I do have news for you before I let you go,” she said. “We are not only swearing, we’re drinking, we’re smoking, we’re having premarital sex with birth control before we go to work and sometimes boss around a bunch of men.”

“I don’t want to hear that. I just don’t want to hear that,” responded Huckabee.

“Sorry, that’s just the reality,” Kelly continued, as her show cut to a break.

All this comes after Huckabee, who resigned from a post at Fox News in January to consider a presidential run, criticized foul-mouthed female co-workers during a radio interview on Friday, calling them “trashy.” During his appearance on “The Kelly File” he went to lengths to assure the host that he wasn’t referring to any women he worked with at Fox News, labeling all of those interactions “lovely” and “delightful.”

Huckabee said his comments were instead in reference to “crude” women in Washington, D.C., Hollywood and New York.
