His friends and co-workers decided to change that.

Kyle is currently taking a 21-units course load at UC Davis, and works more than 35 hours per week at a campus coffee shop to put himself through school. "If you've been to the UC Davis Coffee House at some point these past couple of years, you've met Kyle. And I'm pretty sure he waved at you with the biggest smile, and greeted you like you were one of his closest friends," reads the description. "He is a fantastic co-worker, a great friend, and someone that would have anyone's back."

Donations from co-workers covered Kyle's transportation and game costs to see the Thursday night matchup in San Francisco, and his reaction upon opening the gift is a priceless, touching moment.

"This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me," Kyle says. "Bar none."
