PIERMONT, N.Y. (AP) — The funeral of a bride-to-be who died in a New York boating accident is scheduled for Thursday in the church where she would have been married.

A funeral home in Pearl River says the service for Lindsey Stewart will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church there.

Stewart was killed Friday night when the speedboat she was in collided with a moored construction barge in the Hudson River. Also killed was Mark Lennon, who was to be the best man when Stewart married Brian Bond on Aug. 10.

Bond was injured in the crash.

Both Stewart and Lennon were 30.

The pilot of the boat has been charged with vehicular manslaughter in Stewart's death. His lawyer has not returned a call.
