RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- A furniture and logistics company says it will expand its High Point plant, creating 188 jobs and investing $9.25 million over the next five years.

Gov. Pat McCrory's office announced Tuesday that the project will allow OFS Brands to consolidate its four different operations under one roof. The company currently employs more than 190 people in North Carolina.

OFS Brands was founded in 1937. It's a family-owned and operated furniture and logistics company which manufactures furniture under the brands OFS, First Office, Carolina Business Furniture and Loewenstein.

Salaries will vary by job function, but the average annual salaries for the new jobs will be $42,119, plus benefits.

The project was made possible in part by a performance-based grant from the One North Carolina Fund of up to $300,000..
