Fire & Blood is out now on Android.

Those of us lowborns that use Android phones finally have a chance to climb the ladder.

Game of Thrones: Ascent’s second major expansion, Fire & Blood, is now out for devices running Google’s mobile operating system. It launched previously on the Web, Facebook, and iOS. This new content will enable players to raise a dragon, march on King’s Landing with Robb Stark, and travel north of The Wall with the Night’s Watch. As this add-on is out alongside the fifth season of the HBO Game of Thrones television series, developer Disruptor Beam will continue to update the game with new items and quests in sync with the show.

Outside of the additional content and items for Ascent’s previous modes, Disruptor Beam is introducing an entirely new system. Called Tales of Ice and Fire, it introduces short quests that will take on adventures like “Arya and the Hound” or “The King in the North.” Players interact with these missions by sending out their sellswords.

Updates like this one are the primary way that Disruptor Beam is keeping Game of Thrones: Ascent viable despite debuting in 2013. More than 10 million people have started the free-to-play game, and releasing new quests — especially as the new season is out and getting fans excited — is how the developer is attempting to bring in new gamers and keep old players around.
