Case in point, you ALSO have the commandemnt to love GOD (FIRST). How do you do that? OBEY HIS commandments. Not pick and choose only the one's you agree with, NOT by ALTERING His word to accomodate YOUR belief, but to do just as it says.

David, but isn't that what you are doing yourself?? Just two very simple questions. Do you eat pork or anything that was made with parts of a pig?? Do you say grace before you start to eat?? If you answer yes to these questions, which I imagine you do, you really have a problem. God specifically forbid you to eat pork. (see Lev 11.). It is an abomination in His eyes. Yet you have the gal to ask Him to bless the food that He told you NOT to eat.

This is just a simple example form the Bible. There are so many other laws that are mentioned in the Bible that no christian follows, yet they use the Bible as a weapon to justify their bigotry when it comes to homosexuality. Please, don't fool yourself. You may preach to others that they are an abomination in Gods eye, but since you are not following all of His laws anyway, you are just hypocritical.

I'll give you one simple example to portray your need to understand ALL of scripture (and how some no longer apply)

Blood scarifice requirements given in the OT was a picture (can't think of the right word right now) of things to come (THE BLOOD OF CHRIST). Once the sacrifice of CHRIST occured, ALL others were done away with. The OT blood sacrifice was TEMPORARY hence continually necessary. Christ (the sacrifial lamb) became the PERFECT sacrifice and did away with the old.

And yes, the commandment to put to death (for all the various laws) no longer applies as it was done away by Christ on the Cross. And you do not cherish your father?? I think what is important that he child has at least one loving parent. I think it is very hard to imagine how life will be for this child, but given the fact that they really wanted a child gives him a good chance on a happy life.

So you dare to say that I as a child of God, his creation, am flawed. I think that is what is called blasphemy. This same Bible says that God is All-Knowing. And assuming that that is true, don't you think He knew before any of my ancestors were even born, that I would be sitting here commenting on your comments?? Don't you think He already knew that I would be gay? Don't you think He already knew that I would marry a wonderful man and have a son?? Since He knows all that, do you think that His plan for the world might be different than what you assume it to be?? Homosexual people are born this way. It is NOT a lifestyle choice. I am a heterosexual woman and have seen the proof watching my most cherished male and female family mebers grow up to be happy homosexuals with good relationships. Ppeople need to live and let live.
