    Genstor Systems Taps Fusion-IO Memory Technology for its GS-F High-Performance Server Platform

    Genstor Systems, a leader in Server and Storage cluster architectures for virtualization and HPC environments, is pleased to announce its collaboration with Fusion-io, the provider of a next-generation shared data decentralization platform, in driving enhanced application level performance for its global customer base.

    Over the last month of qualification testing, Genstor engineers measured 900,000 IOPs at 4k packet transfers in the new GS-S30FL storage server. The GS-S30FL obtained this result while equipped with three Fusion-io 320GB ioDriveDuo SLC cards.

    Genstor will also be leveraging Fusion’s ioMemory technology for their new GS-F server series, including 1U and 2U models that will scale capacity to five terabytes (TB) per RU, for a total of 10TBs in the 2U offering.
