The George Jarkesy Show, hosted by George Jarkesy, completes another successful week filled with guests from around the nation.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) February 02, 2012
In the week beginning on January 23, 2012, the show opened with our first Entrepreneurial Warrior of the Week – Blake Hall, the CEO and Co-Founder of Troop Swap, a site that features daily deals for members of the military community. The same episode also featured an interview with Jim Allen, the head of capital markets policy at the CFA Institute, who discussed the effects of the “Volcker Rule” in the Frank-Dodd Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act on banks and trading.
The following two days featured well-known TV personalities and experience personal investors. On Tuesday, our guest was Jon Najarian, former Chicago Bears linebacker and now a regular contributor to CNBC’s Fast Money, as well as Co-Founder of optionMONSTER, who joined us to discuss Apple’s earnings report. Wednesday featured Tobin Smith, a market analyst for Bulls and Bears on Fox Business Network and chairman and CEO of NBT Equity Group, who discussed small cap stocks and finding the next blue chip investments.
Thursday’s show featured a very special guest: Reince Priebus, the Chairman of the Republican National Committee. Priebus called in to discuss President Obama’s State of the Union speech and the RNC’s viral video that took the Internet by storm. He condemned the speech for its predictability, noting that the President has delivered “the same speech” for three years.
The week ended with a spectacular show, as Friday featured two great guests – New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi and the National Commander of the American Legion, Fang Wong. Mr. Corsi, author of Obama Nation and Unfit for Command, joined us to discuss Farrar vs. Obama, a course case in Georgia’s Office of State Administrative Hearings that disputes President Obama’s status as a natural born citizen. Mr. Wong, who heads an organization with 2.4 million members in over 14,000 posts worldwide, discussed his on-going efforts on Capitol Hill to secure better health care and improved employment opportunities for American veterans.
Planned guests for the week of January 30th include Austin Troy, author of The Very Hungry City, spokespeople from the Heritage Foundation and the National Rifle Association, a noted expert on Central Asian energy economics, and a very special appearance from a Congressman from Florida. Make sure to tune into the show to find out more about these guests!
This week also features another Entrepreneurial Warrior of the Week – Rob Swartwood, President of Ranger Coffee, a veteran-owned provider of high quality coffee products. The company, currently consisting of five employees, invests half of its profits in veterans and the organizations that support, strengthen, and prepare them for continued service to the nation after the military.
