BERLIN (AP) — Police in Germany have launched a manhunt after two people were killed in separate attacks at lawyers' offices in the west of the country.
Duesseldorf police say one woman died after being shot at a lawyer's office in the city around noon Friday.
Shortly after the first killing, a second woman was shot dead in the town of Erkrath, about 15 kilometers (9 miles) away. A man was seriously injured in that attack.
Duesseldorf police spokesman Peter Mahr said it was not yet clear whether the two cases were linked, but in both cases the suspect was still at large.
