Ghana central bank says supports plan to renegotiate IMF deal
ACCRA (Reuters) - Ghana's central bank supports a plan by the new government to renegotiate a $918 million deal with the International Monetary Fund and the plan will not derail efforts to stabilize the economy, Governor Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku said on Monday. The government under President Nana Akufo-Addo plans to review the three-year deal struck in April 2015 because it may need more money for its spending plans, a minister-designate said on Friday.
