Ghana producer price inflation slows to 21.8 pct in February: stats office

ACCRA (Reuters) - Ghana's annual producer price inflation slowed to 21.8 percent in February from a revised 23.6 percent year-on-year in January, the national statistics office said on Wednesday. Ghana's PPI is high by regional standards and is an indication of fiscal problems facing the West African country, which has reached an agreement with the International Monetary Fund for a $940 million aid package to stabilise its economy.
