Giants sign DT Rogers to one-year deal

The New York Giants signed defensive tackle Shaun Rogers to a one-year deal.

The Newark Star-Ledger reported Saturday that Rogers will stay with the Giants for $1.005 million but his salary falls to $433,000 if he goes on injured reserve.

Rogers, a 13-year pro, hit the IRL in 2012 with a blood clot in his left calf. The 33-year-old has started just five games since 2009.
