Gigi Hadid Defends Zayn Malik Relationship
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid finally confirmed that they were at the very least dating on Sunday night, when they were papped stepping out of a restaurant holding hands following days of speculation about their lurve life.
Now, Gigi has hit out at the haters, defending her and the former One Direction star’s relationship in a now-deleted tweet.
Taking to her social media channel, the 20-year-old model wrote: “Sometimes life happens. For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense till it does. That’s it.
“If there was a real way to sit with each one of you and tell you my side of things, I would. But there’s not, so I won’t. I’ve found the only way to happiness is by living as though the microscope isn’t there.”
Gigi then reportedly responded to a fan who branded ‘Zigi’ fake, with the user writing: “You want the public to consume and believe your fake [relationship] - but don’t want to be judged for it? Lol doesn’t work that way.”
The star replied: “Who are you to say what is fake? Your comment proves my point exactly. If you don’t know you don’t know.”
Gigi then deleted all of the posts referencing her new relationship and instead posted a picture that read: “Chill”.
Short and sweet, eh?
The tweets come after Gigi’s ex, Joe Jonas, unfollowed her and Zayn on Twitter, also deleting a photo of himself with the 1D star from his Instagram account.
Zayn, on the other hand, has continued to ignore the speculation - instead opting to post some sexy selfies.
Needless to say, we approve.
