Google Glass gets first fart app and it's a real gas
He who Glass'd, it passed it.
Google's wearable Glass device already had apps for the New York Times, Evernote, and Tumblr. Now, it also has one for farts.
The newest app for Google Glass turns your $1,500, ground-breaking piece of wearable tech into a whoopie cushion, all by uttering the command “Ok glass, fart.”
Created by developer Hung Truong, and first spotted by The Next Web, GlassFart makes a fart noise in the wearer’s ear when he or she speaks the command above. It’s as simple and delightful as that. In a video demonstrating the app, Truong explained that he got his Glass mere days ago and had been thinking of what to build for the “well-designed” device with such “raw computing power.”
He came up with GlassFart. And though flatulence apps are a popular category Apple's App Store and Android's Play Store, GlassFart is surely the first farting app for Google Glass.
Sure, as far as usefulness and productivity is concerned, Truong's app might not quite cut the mustard, but it sure does cut the cheese.
