Yahoo! News is asking GOP voters in Iowa and New Hampshire for their impressions from the Republican debates. Here is a perspective from a voter.

COMMENTARY | In a stunning lapse of memory, Rick Perry forgot one of the agencies he would drop, if elected president. I'm no Perry fan, but that was the most excruciating political debate gaffe I've seen. Seconds ticked by as Perry looked around as if trying to pull the answer from the air. He finally had to pass on the rest of the answer. In a camera long-shot, Perry's fellow GOP presidential candidates, looked like they were uncomfortable and sympathetic for Perry's plight. Going into this debate, Perry needed to have a good night. Is this the last we will see of Perry debating? Maybe, but I don't think so. With plenty of money, Perry showed no signs of leaving, when questioned on FOX news this morning.

    The Crowd Explodes

As a political junkie, I watch all of the debates. Once in a while, the debate audiences express dislike for a question or an answer or even a gesture. But last night, when CNBC moderator, Maria Bartiroma, asked Herman Cain about the sexual harassment allegations that were brought up about him, the crowd exploded. Not only was the booing deafening, the hissing was as well. I don't think I remember an entire debate crowd getting so upset over a question before. Cain answered confidently that people were more interested in solutions to the country's problems than false accusations. Again, the crowd erupted, but this time with applause for Cain.

Not to be deterred, moderator John Harwood asked Romney about the sexual harassment and Cain. The crowd again took the moderators to the woodshed with boos and hisses. Romney refused to answer the question, and the topic was dropped for the evening.

    Herman Cain Wins

I like Herman Cain and I was nervous about the CNBC debate. For the previous nine days, Cain has been busy trying to defend himself against sexual harassment charges. The whole ordeal has been a distraction from the Cain campaign, 9-9-9, the other GOP candidates and the upcoming primaries and election.

Whether you thought he won or not, Cain showed up ready to face the moderators, his rivals and the American people. He was unflappable, stayed focus and on message, and showed us why a businessman might be the right pick for president this time.

Over all, the CNBC debate was a good one. Other than the taboo Cain questions, there were no gotcha questions, or baiting one candidate against the other.

The GOP went nuts for months and blew all kinds of taxpayer money and all our time on special investigations when there was information that Clinton had sexual improprieties as Pres. Now they want (and apparently demand) that people ignore unanswered allegations that a presidential candidate had sexually harassed four women.

      The hypocrisy knows no bounds.

If there's one thing we've learned from the crowds at these debates, they are heartless #$%$ idiots, I image they were all upset with Paterno was fired too. These thugs are the #$%$ of the earth, no wonder they identify with the GOP...

The GOP must have installed some sort of minority quota system. How else could an unqualified, amoral, buffoon like Herman Cain get any support at all?

Military personnel get up to $4000 a month in housing subsidy to stay in Okinawa. No one mention bringing the troops home last night. Imagine how much we will save if we just bring half the Military personnel home in Okinawa.
