GPS Navigation Be-on-Road review

GPS Navigation Be-on-Road puts many necessary GPS navigation features into a reliable application that doesn't require an Internet connection. The bountiful amount of information and assistive design options, introduced with the new update, make this an excellent program despite having an unsupportive control scheme.

Pros

Great performance: We downloaded local navigation maps rapidly over our 4G connection, and all important data was instantly retrieved during our tests. GPS Navigation Be-on-Road processed all commands with speed, and we never experienced mistakes in navigation or estimated time or distance.

Personalized designs: Maps are organized by region and country or state, which you will find easier because this eliminates the need for large downloads. Not only are there a handful of color schemes readily available to customize your map, but you are also given total control of menu design, which is helpful for those with vision impairment.

Loaded with data: GPS Navigation Be-on-Road provides details for all points of interest in your area and gives you turn-by-turn voice navigation tailored exclusively for your region. We found that the included route information was accurate, except for temporary issues such as construction.

Cons

Awkward controls: The main navigation display works well; however, the controls can be a nuisance and obstruct your view. A major problem is that the buttons are still displayed when the screen is locked.

Bottom Line

GPS Navigation Be-on-Road provides everything that you would want in an offline GPS application, and we believe that you will adjust to the slightly cumbersome controls with continued use. It would be great to see Bluetooth integration in the future.
