Grain futures and livestock prices are mixed

Wheat and corn futures fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices are mixed

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 8.50 cents to $7.2750 a bushel; May corn fell 3.50 cents to $7.29 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.9925 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 3.75 cents to $14.2350 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices were also mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle were flat at $1.2605 a pound; April feeder cattle rose 0.15 cent to $1.3780 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.47 cent to 77.40 cents a pound.
