Grain futures, livestock prices mixed

Corn futures rise, while soybean futures fall on the CBOT; pork prices fall

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery was flat at $6.79 a bushel; September corn fell 2.75 cents to $5.51 a bushel; September oats were flat at $3.565 a bushel; while August soybeans rose 5.75 cents to $14.705 a bushel.

Beef prices were mixed, while pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle fell 0.12 cent to $1.2195 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.45 cent to $1.51 a pound; August lean hogs fell 0.20 cent to 95.5 cents a pound.
