Grain futures, livestock prices mostly rise

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices also rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain prices mostly rose Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 9.50 cents to $7.8750 a bushel; March corn rose 4 cents to $7.0225 a bushel; March oats were flat at $3.4750 a bushel; while January soybeans rose 15.25 cents to $14.34 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.25 cent to $1.3255 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.15 cent to $1.5155 a pound; February lean hogs added 0.03 cent at 85.75 cents a pound.
