Grain futures mixed, livestock prices fell
Wheat and corn futures fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices also fall
CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery fell 4.25 cents to $7.205 a bushel; May corn slipped 0.25 cent to $7.1625 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.965 a bushel; while May soybeans added 0.50 cent to $14.36 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle fell 1.10 cent to $1.2695 a pound; April feeder cattle fell 1.38 cent to $1.4017 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.62 cent to 80.25 cents a pound.
