Grain futures mostly rise, livestock prices rise

Wheat, corn and soybean futures rise on the CBOT; beef and pork prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures mostly rose Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery rose 7 cents to $6.9675 a bushel; July corn rose 9.5 cents to $6.595 a bushel; July oats fell 6.75 cents to $4.0325 a bushel; while July soybeans jumped 28.75 cents to $15.405 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle rose 1.28 cent to $1.197 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.25 cent to $1.4467 a pound; July lean hogs rose 1.25 cent to 99.15 cents a pound.
