Grains futures fall, livestock prices mixed
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 16 cents to $8.8650 a bushel; December corn fell 2.50 cents to $7.3875 a bushel; December oats slipped 0.25 cent to $3.6350 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 44.50 cents to $14.5125 a bushel.
Beef futures were mixed, while pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose 0.33 cent to $1.2575 a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.27 cent to $1.4560 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.55 cent to 80.75 cents a pound.
