    Grand Forks creates website for oil companies

    GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The oil boom keeps moving east.

    The northeastern North Dakota city of Grand Forks has created a new website as part of a campaign to recruit oil patch companies to the region.

    City officials say three companies have announced expansion plans into the region to meet growing demands from the oil industry for their products. One company, Steffes Corp., is expanding its Dickinson plant to Grand Forks.

    Grand Forks Mayor Michael Brown says the city believes it can help companies who are looking for space to expand.
