Group Of Broadcast Meteorologists Make Bargain Amazon Dress Go Viral

Could this be “the dress” that we’ll all be talking about from now on? [Photo: Twitter]

A group of female broadcast meteorologists have made a £15 dress go viral – by wearing it in different cities across the US.

It all started when one meteorologist bought the Homeyee women’s stretch tunic pencil sheath dress from Amazon and discovered it was the perfect style to wear on television. Since it’s flattering, comfortable, has sleeves and is stylish, it was a big hit.

After sharing a link to the dress on a private Facebook group for female broadcast meteorologists, dozens of other women across the US have bought and worn the garment, making it go viral.

“This has me laughing out loud tonight! There’s a private Facebook group page of female broadcast meteorologists and we all decided to buy the same $23 dress on Amazon. We’ve all worn it in different cities across the country, this week, including me….I bought it in two colors (sic),” wrote April Warnecke, from “Good Morning Arizona” on Facebook.

Dallas’ Fox 4 meteorologist Jennifer Myers posted on her page that “more than 50 of us purchased the dress.”

The dress is available in seven different colours, so some viewers probably won’t even notice that so many of the TV presenters are wearing the same frock.

With 4.7 out of 5 stars and plenty of positive of reviews – as well as an affordable price tag – it’s easy to see why it’s such a hit.

We wonder if any of Britain’s meteorologists will conspire to dress alike anytime soon?
